B1G expansion is crippled by the bylaws of the conference

the school must be a member of the AAU or whatever it is called, and must be in a contiguous state

when the conference meets to revoke these rules, then worry

example
B1G cannot take Oklahoma unless Missouri will bolt from the SEC, or they already have someone in Kansas. ONLY kansas school that is AAU is U Kansas. Therefore without Kansas, the can get no one in Oklahoma. Same rule for Texas. Someone in Kan and Ok must bolt first.

They cannot get Duke because they need someone from Virginia to bolt the ACC. Only AAU school in Virginia is UVA.

anything else at this point in history is BS
